UD1Dancer | Sur-Feed™ Roll Feed Assembly
Our Customer required a system with a unwind roll having the following dimensions of 3” core, 18” or less OD, up to 8” wide weighing under 50 lbs. The web guided by the rollers into the Sur-Feed motorized feeder. The Sur-Feed has an AC motor with a variable speed control to provide flexibility during the process. The customer’s process was before the feed rollers. Second set of rollers and a dancer assembly guides the material into the rewind. The web speed is to be controlled by the Sur-Feed roll feeder. The unwind and rewind will run from dancer assemblies and will work independently of web speed. This simplifies the set up. The unwind and rewind become the slave to the unit and automatically adjust to the roll feeders performance. Simple to use. Bench mounted and requires 110vac and compressed air.

Sur-Feed Roll Feed Assembly
  • Precision ground urethane drive rollers advance the material
  • Top idler roller is spring-loaded
  • Precision ground ball bearings, which require no lubrication
  • A guide will help direct the material through the unit

  • Idler rollers will guide the web through the system from the unwind, through the feeder assembly to the rewind
