Technical Sales Manager

About the Role
We’re looking for a proven technical sales professional who enjoys solving problems and leading by example. As a Technical Sales Manager, you’ll manage customer accounts, drive new business, and mentor a growing sales team. You’ll work directly with customers across the industrial and converting equipment sector, providing expertise and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing accounts while pursuing new opportunities.
  • Partner with engineers, plant managers, and purchasing teams.
  • Present and recommend technical solutions.
  • Mentor and coach sales representatives.
  • Coordinate with engineering and operations for project success.
  • Travel to customer sites (approx. 25–30%).
  • Report on activity and performance metrics.

 

Requirements

  • Leadership mindset with strong mentoring ability.
  • Relationship-driven and technically curious.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years in technical or industrial sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
