AZCO’s test strip bottle filling line is a fully integrated system designed to cut, load, and package test strips into bottles with speed, accuracy, and reliability. The system combines material handling, cutting, and automated bottle processing stations to deliver a streamlined production process.

  • Bottle Conveyor
    • Free-standing anodized aluminum conveyor with side guides.
    • Table-top style with plastic flights.
    • Equipped with a variable speed motor and controller for flexible throughput.
  • Desiccant Dispenser (1 station)
    • Bottles indexed one at a time with pneumatic escapement.
    • 5D desiccant dispenser feeds, cuts, and verifies placement of 2 g desiccant packs.
    • Capable of handling 80 bottles per minute.
  • Bottle Turning Station (6 stations)
    • Bottles enter vertically, open top up.
    • Rotates bottles 90° to horizontal for strip loading.
    • Pneumatic grippers move bottles horizontally to and from the loading area.
    • Returns bottles upright after filling.
  • Test Strip Cutting, Loading, and Rejection Station (6 stations)
    • Material fed from a motorized dancer unwind with tension control.
    • Registration eye detects tape marks for accurate strip length management.
    • Large strips (2+ inches) cut until trailing tape detected, then rejected via retractable shuttle.
    • Test strips cut to 5.08 mm (0.2 in.) or 6.35 mm (0.25 in.) as required.
    • Strips collected in loading troughs and counted:
      • Small bottles: 100 pcs or 50 pcs
      • Large bottles: 40 pcs or 80 pcs
    •  Plunger slides the counted strips into bottles with precision.
    • Integrated rejection system ensures quality control.
  • Performance & Throughput
    • With 6 active stations, production reaches 12 bottles per minute.
    • Configurable to run with a single cutting head or multiple heads simultaneously.
